2. He suffered depression (because of monetary problems) - also in real life sadly enough
3. He attempted an insurance scam by torching his car-lot and the fire claimed the life of a homeless man (criminal)
4. He got depressed again (because of no. 3)
5. He disappeared, presumed dead (because of 3 and 4)
6. He returned from the ether and tried to win Pat back (criminal)
7. He disappeared again (because he failed on no.6)
8. He returned again but decided to try his luck with Peggy (insanity)
9. He �courted� Peggy whilst hobb-nobbling with Pat on the side (nauseous)
