Fantastic Asian comedian - who was he?

I saw a fantastic Asian comedian on a stand up TV show last year and have sadly forgotten his name. I googled him after the programme and have since lost his details. even more frstratingly I can't remember too much about his act either. he was probably in his early thirties.. slighly built ... maybe slightly camp and one of his funniest sketches was when he overheard some terrorists talking about HAMAS and thought they were talking about humous. Does this ring any vague and distant bells??

Hi Ethel... Sorry, I think he was English but with perhaps an Indian, pakistani or Bangladeshi background. He was only a youngish guy and very slim. He played on being kind of ditzy
