Any opinions on last night's show? I can't believe Jenny didn't go. I thought she was going to be one of the ones I liked after last week, but some of the things she said - and the way she said them - were unecessarily rude and harsh. Lucinda wasn't perfect by any means, but felt sorry for her when she was attacked by Jenny.
Shazia didn't seem to do much wrong, but was abit useless in the boardroom at sticking up for herself!

I thought Shazia was fired for doing just one thing wrong. Jenny should have gone as she did many things badly. Yes, she got the team going to start with but she didnt 'manage' them as she was too focussed on Lucinda. I get the feeling that Jenny lives in a blame culture and rather than standing up to be counted and admitting that she ******** up, she wanted to pass that on. I guess that the competition though, survival of the fittest or at least the sneaky in the early weeks.
It wasn't an easy task but none of the girls showed a deal of common sense. He must have felt like firing the whole lot....how much to launder a pillowcase? have they never bought one?!!! I think Jenny should have gone - especially after making that stupid 'mothering' comment, how cringeworthy was that?
(I'm trying not to give the whole script away! :o) )

Completely agree - what did Shazia actually do wrong? If she hadn't started documenting what washing was where would anyone else have done? She didn't just go without telling anyone, and Jenny accused her of lying and being manipulative!
Like you say, Jenny did a whole load of things wrong and surely it's clear to everyone she should have gone and just tried to blame everyone else, he must have kept her in for the good tv, why else get rid of someone who hadn't really done any wrong?
And wasn't Jenny the one who came up with the 5,000 idea? What an idiot and she's so horrible!

It does make me wonder (yet again) if the outcome is somewhat manipulated. Out of the three Shazia was the least "at fault": Lucinda was certainly not as overbearing as Jenny but at least by leaving the two of them in, sparks are likely to fly again in later episodes encouraging the veiwing figures to be maintained...or is it that I am just an old cynic?
