The episode you are looking for is 'Shore Leave' from the first series. The theme must have struck a chord with the Star Trek team, because they returned to it in an episode called 'Once Upon A Planet', but that was the later animated version of the series, when most of the original cast voiced their animated characters, and Jame 'Scotty' Doolan voiced The White Rabit.
