Crossover programmes

Last night there was an episode of CSI followed by an episode of Without A Trace which followed a storyline with the stars of each programme appearing in the other. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wondered why it hasn't been done over here. Which programmes would fellow ABers like to see following similar ideas? I would like to see a story on Waking The Dead being concluded on Doctor Who - know THAT would be interesting.

I remember a couple of years ago,E.R.and Third Watch had cross over episodes on Channel 4

It has happened here. Characters from Hollyoaks appeared (as their characters) in Brookside, and a character from Footballers wives was sent to prison in Bad girls.

The usa do it all the time..all the three csi's link up regularly (csi new york was launched in a three parter lv-miami-ny continuation) crossing jordan and llas vegas was another..it's been done over here as said with the holby's and the mersey tv shows i personally would like to see Betty eggleton and madge from neighbours and her sister (all from emmerdale) cross over to Ultimate Force and help Henno and the boys take down a heavily armed bunch of al quaeda sucide bombers who are terrorising the peak district.Betty eggleton armed to the teeth...that i would like to see!
