What's the worst film you've ever seen? Mine is a horror film called 'spawn' which had no redeeming features whatsoever. Some films are so bad they actually start to become entertaining, but this didn't even fit into that category.

A martial arts film called "Best of the Best". Biggest load of rubbish I have seen in my life. Predicatble to the last, wooden acting... If it had any saving graces it was that I learnt an interesting fact - Julia Roberts' brother stars in it. And he's rubbish.
Solaris with George Cluny. Should have been a 30 minute Twilight Zone, not a movie. Surprised I watched it to the end.
I couldn't wait for "Minority Report" to end and I turned off "Shrek" after 15 mins so they come close, but I think that "Eyes Wide Shut" takes the title as my worst movie.
i really hated the film perfect storm. even though it was a true story, they showed you what happens at the end of the film in the trailer!
School of Rock Independence Day
Mine has to be Bad Taste by the amazing Peter Jackson. This is such a bad zombie film and I can't believe he made it. The "special" effects are terrible! My friends watch it because they think it's so bad it's funny. I just think it's so bad.
Talking of bad horror. Another really cak one is "House of a thousand corpses". Just damn weird. but not weird enough to keep you interested, more cr@p really.
Mine is 'Four Weddings' which has given me a hatred of Hugh Grant which is totally disproprtionate, I avoid any film if he is in it. Likewise, if Andy McDowell appears in her shampoo ads. i have to bite hard on the nearest living thing to avoid smashing the TV! I went to see the film with my wife, and after ten minutes, I wanted to pick a fight with a complete stranger, but i stuck it out because she was enjoying it. Never, never again!
Mad Cows. The only time I have ever walked out of a cinema (got about 80% or the way through it and couldn't take any more).
It was Even Cowgirls Get The Blues. The premise is that Uma Thurman is a really good hitchhiker cos she's got unusually large thumbs. Eh?? And regarding Natalie_1982's answer, I really liked House of 1000 Corpses. Just goes to show, each to their own.
recently - johnny english this may not be the worst film ive ever seen but its certainly the worst story.
AI and Minority Report, both for just totally ridiculous and unneccessary last 30mins (I blame the US audiences to which the film endings pander). utter tosh. Also, Titanic and Forest Gump....so shmaltzy and predictable, with every ounce of emotion wrung out of the story lines. That criticism also applies to many many other 'blockbusters' that a lot of people enjoy regularly.
Easily Hercules in New York an Arnie film from 1970.I can't stand him at the best of times but this was appalling.
How could you possibly think that Shrek is a bad film? It's excellent! That one with Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman is pretty darn awful...Paycheck, that's the name. Don't see it!
If any of you have seen a film called Soccer Dog - European Cup, then you will know this is the absolute definition of a bad film - so bad it's hilariously funny. Probably made on a budget of less than a fraction of a percent of the production budget on Troy, whic I found equally laughable.
John Carpenter's Vampires - absolute w@nk
Freddy got fingered. Utter sh1te

Interesting. Some of these bad films are ones I really like!
Half of the films people have mention in here are actually excellent films, and have been highly underestimated, Shrek, Independance Day etc, they are both good films but can plaingly see a very different genre, perhaps they people should look at the films in its genre as i think they are trying to compare such films as shrek with something completely different such as the Die Hard series etc, genre worst's ppl!!! you can say a film is bad when you are comparing it to something in a different genre it jus doesnw ork, sorry.
John Carpenter's Vampires is still absolute w@nk though.....
