help with tv prog please

we where talking earlier about programmes past and one my friend mentioned from her childhood, i think time period would be mid 70's to 80's (she's 40) the prog was about a sick child who drew stuff and that would happen to people around him/her, sometimes good sometimes bad that's all she can remember. i'm hoping you guys can help!
