Am I wrong to hate BB ?
24 Answers
I feel like the only one, but I really do hate Bigbrother.
Ok, I know I can vote on my feet, or with my finger as this is the way I change channel's on the remote, but I really don't get it.
A house full of retards and misfits from society, surely there's more to life ?.
Next time you get your TV licence reminder, just think about the level of entertainment you actually get from the major 5 channels.

I dont think you are wrong to hate BB, I certainly fail to see the entertainment value in it myself as it just seems a bit repetitive and formulaic, with your token usual suspects.
I wouldnt however berate anyone who does find genuine enjoyment from watching it and they are welcome to do so.
I do though think that it is a bit nave of viewers to vote and believe they are having a say, and treat subsequent housemates/evictees as a celebrity worthy of a book tour and record deal. That is where I am at a loss.

No your not alone at all. I don't watch it and haven't since the first one except for the odd 5 minutes here and there when surfing the channels, just to see if I was justified in dislikeing it so much. I realised I was.
The poll result on the right hand side of the screen would suggest u are indeed not alone.

I don't care for footie or corrie either. It's just hard to make conversation when ur in a place where people do nothing but talk about it.
We all like different stuff but somethimes everything else gets shoved out of the way to serve a small part of the viewing public.
BB is one such subject. The papers are full of it as well as mags and quite a few tv stations apart from channel 4.
Look what happened over that Jade Goody buisness.
It was eveywhere.
It's not like its that important. It's just a group of wanna-bes stuck in a house/studio trying to be as controversial as possible.

I hate it too and refuse to watch a second of it or read any of the hype about the ridiculous characters who move into the BB house.
I think I watched the first three Big Brothers, but I just found the people who go into the house aren't normal. They are so desperate for their 5 minutes of fame, they will do whatever they can to get it and at everyone's expense.
I live near Croydon and have been unable to avoid reports on one of the inmates, Alex I think she's called. I believe she is using bullying and aggressive behaviour in the house, but was amazed the magazine writing about her, actually contacted the DVLA, to report her out of date tax disc. I just despair at the kind of society we are living in.
