It was first shown in 1995, and has recently been shown on ITV1 during the afternoons - within the last two years anyway.

Do you remember the episode where Bramwell met a girl from the circus, who had an elephant man head?

She decided it was just a mass of tissue, which could be removed, but it turned out to be a mis-shapen skull and abnormal brain tissue, so the patient ended up as a vegetable and Bramwell felt guilty.

The girl with the deformity on her head serial was on last week.

Did she end up dying? I don't remember, saw it years ago.

no, she didn't die but was left spastic.
