I remember a presenter called Patty-who discovered she had cancer again.I truly hope she is recovering but I cant remember her surname and I havent heard anything of her.

Do you mean Pattie Coldwell? She unfortunately died in october 2002.

I am truly very sad to hear this-she was very brave and an inspiration.

She did a very moving film in 1987 called 'Remember Terry' about an actor friend who had, and ultimetly died of AIDS. It was a very moving film and I remember it fondly. She also did 'Open Air' a BBC morning programme which started Eamonn Holmes UK career.
