Fritz The Cat
4 Answers
Does anybody out there remember a trilogy of X rated, feature length, cinema cartoons about Fritz the Cat? The second one was called "Heavy Traffic" I think and I am amazed that nobody has ever thought of reviving them on DVD as I seem to remember almost getting a rupture with laughter when I saw them. I didn't imagine them did I ??!!! - rutineli

They were controversial at the time of making as they dealt with sex, drugs and race issues.

According to IMDB there were only 2 cartoons: 'Fritz The Cat' (1972) and 'The Nine Lives Of Fritz The Cat' (1974).

'Heavy Traffic' (1973) was by the same writer as Fritz The Cat (Ralph Bakshi), but Fritz himself wasn't in that one.
A quick search on Amazon found all 3 available on DVD.
