Seeing as the actor who plays him has died, does anyone know how his character is going to be written out of the prog?

I don't think they have thought that far ahead Mrs.chappie. He died last week so I think it will be some time before they reflect it in Emmerdale.

Thanks tigger. I've not seen him for ages in Emmerdale - it's very sad that he's died as I think he was only sixty something.

It is very sad. I think he had cancer but prefered to keep it quiet.

How far are they ahead in filming ??

they film approx 4 plus weeks ahead of transmission

tigger, he died on 3 july so thats over 3 weeks not last week. i would imagine they are probably going to film this week.
