Can anyone remember the name of a programme on BBC2 approx 5 yrs ago, it was a bit like 'no going back', where families moved to really different places to run businesses like restaurants etc? I remember one couple went to Costa Rica, I think! TIA

Was that the one with the woman who looked like Barbie - even her Aga was pink.

And her husband died after they moved while she was a having a fling with the security guard employed to protect them from drug runners? But he held them up at gunpoint and robbed them?

I don't think thats the one Ethel, but it certainly sounds like its worth watching!
It was in fact Channel 4, last broadcast in 2003.

Then in that case it was called Get A New Life: Costa Rica

Documentary series following the fortunes of families who've recently moved abroad. Progs catching up with the Mayne family in Costa Rica as they try to turn around a failing restaurant business & sort out a school for son Zach.
