Do guests get paid to appear? I understand the likes of MPs, but I always wonder the attraction for the 'celebrity', such as David Baddiel, that they usually feature.

I'm pretty sure that the guests on Question time will get some sort of appearance fee.I like it when they have a comedian on the show because not only will he or she bring some humour but it also shows their serious side.
