Talksport ruined!
8 Answers
Just wondered what people thought about talksport these day's. I think it's been ruined. First James Whale was fired, now I read Mike Mendoza has also left. Add to that Losing Mike Dickin a few years back, theres nothing worth listening to. Anyone got any better stations for chat at night?

I liked Mike Dickins, he was the greatest.
I did not know Mike Mendoza has left, have you the report?
Regarding a replacement Radio station, have you tried LBC, this is much better than Talk Sport. Last week James Whale had a guest spot, while one of the regular presenters was on holiday.
Sometimes they have some interesting late night discussions on BBC Radio 5.

I agree totally. Talksport has become utter tripe(and not just at night). Alan Brazil is the biggest to$$pot on the planet. Adrian Durham doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. anotheoldgit has got Ian Collins summed up perfectly. This guy must love the sound of his own voice. Galloway uses the station for his political views, and cuts off anyone who dares to have a different opinion to his. John Gaunt's rantings are gut-wrenching.
Whale and Dickin were top-notch, and were the main reason for me listening to the station. I am just pleased I've got a decent CD player in my lorry to help me through the night.
