Why do the makers of these programmes always give do much of the programme to the presenters waffling? Is it to demonstrate how funny the clips are? (This also applies to anything presented Angus Deayton)
I have just watched one on BBC Three and the offscreen presenter waffled on during the clips so that you couldn't hear what was supposed to be funny anyway.
Whay can't they just present the clips on their own?
