SpongeBob - how old do you think he is?

How old does everyone think SpongeBob SquarePants is? I was thinking about 19...

That's a toughie but I would say a little older - maybe about 23. He's holding down the job making the crabby patties well enough, but I get the feeling it's not his no1 career choice. However, he does seem to own his own place, and his parents are never anywhere to be seen, or not to my knowledge.

Spongebob Squarepants is 19 years old. He will be 20 on July 14, 2006. I saw his date of birth on the episode where he dreamt he had a driver's license. I saw it when they zoomed up on it before Mrs. Puff ripped it up.

We thought spongebob was over 16 about 17 or 18 because he is in drivers school so that means he is over or 16 but then he has a job as a cook so he is about 17 or 18.

I would think he is about 55 because in one episode he failed boating school 39 years in a row. He would have to be at least 16 to drive. 16 plus 39 is 55.

Well, truthfully and without a doubt, he's about 20. In the
episode in which Mrs. Puff let SpongeBob slide through
school just so she didn't have to deal with him anymore, it shows his driver's license. If you pause the screen and look at the license, you'll see that it says that he was born on July 11, 1986 - so he's 20.

It was the dream clip, when he popped ou tof his dream bubble, while in his very own dream bubble he was a rock then turned into himself and started driving a boat until he realized he didnt have his drivers license then magically it came to his hands and in the close up you will see that his D.O.B was infact 07-11-86 which will make him 22 years of age on that very date.

I had check on Patricks Stars profile and it had said he was born the same year as spongebob, and the year was 1983. So Spongebob is 28 years old and so is Patrick.
