I have just finished watching this but it was never explained what it was about the pool scene that looked wrong to Poirot. What was wrong with it?

If it's the episode i'm thinking of...the pool scene is a painting? in which case she said she's painted it in the morning, but the shadows were in the wrong place for that to be true.
