Who thinks Bruce is past it now? They should replace him and I think Vernon Kay would be a great choice! Vernon and Tess would be great presenting it together.

Whilst i like bruce ,he needs to give other a chance not to keen on vernon kay perhaps taby for a change .
Totally agree about Bruce....I tend to cringe when I see him present. His jokes are awful!
Typical! wanting to get rid of the oldies, let Bruce continue for as long as he wants, he is a dancer and all round entertainer not smutty and vulgar! Vernon is a good presenter but I think we need someone who has dance experience,maybe some of the past contestants or professional dancers, Bruces's lookalike Anton Du Beck! As long as it is not Alan Carr or Graham Norton!
I think Bruce does a great job and he copes very well with catastrophes on live tv.

I like him. :)
i dont think bruce is past it at all......ithink he is very entertaining
Vernon Kay is one of the most talentless people on TV.

If Brucie decides to step down (and I hope he doesn't yet), they should offer it to Paul O'grady.
If Vernon Kay was on it I would stop watching.
He can't mind on the judges' name without looking at his cards and his "jokes" wouldn't be funny even if he did manage to read the Autocue without stumbling over the words.
Bruce has finally come to his senses and announced today that this series will be his last! He is 80 now and although I have nothing against old people (I am an older person myself), I do think he has had his day.

Paul O'Grady would be good presenting it.

On a different note but still to do with strictly; Is the results show live or recorded on the Saturday night?
Question Author
I also think Don should have stayed... Oh well c'est la vie.
The results show is recorded on the Saturday and from memory in the first series they gave the impression it was live but gave up when folk twigged it wasn't;
