when I watched this lastnight he did something to a horse to make it gush blood, what was that for?

the horse wasn't well and they used to 'blood let' i think to releive pressure but i'm not 100% on that. they used to do it on humans as well....

what did you think of it anyway, i wasn't that impressed to be honest
