The villagers eventually allowed the baby to move back but not the older girl, some bloke even threatened to chop her up with a machete if she went home. You could see her crying her eyes out when her mum visited her at the end 'cos she wanted to go home with her.
This completely broke my heart, the poor girl Mary, she just looked so sad you could really see it in her eyes I just wanted to pick her up and hug her forever. The girl at the end ...., good god that was so awful, she was hysterical and sobbing her poor heart out and her Mum just walked away.
