I'm experiencing picture freeze. Has anyone had this problem and know how to cure it. I've tried swithing off from the mains and waiting. Then when I switch back on it takes ages - like 30 minutes to re boot - and still doesnt cure the problem. The worst affected is news channels with strapping lines running from right to left.

If I get this problem it's usually due to adverse weather conditions. However, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to re-boot, it should fire up straight away. Next time, switch off and take the card out for about 10 seconds then replace. It's worth a try.
