The actors were meant to be playing school boys and girls, but were all in their 40's. Can't remember what it was exactly about, but they were running about the woods for most of the programme, possibly Bernard Cribbens in it?

It was 'Blue Remembered Hills'- a play by Dennis Potter. Michael Elphick and Helen Mirren were in it- not sure about Bernard Cribbens.

After i looked this up on IMDB, i realise it was Colin Welland i was thinking of.
