Surely the little boy would have mentioned this big event and would have been "rehearsing" Also who runs the "Betting Shop" when Peter and Leanne are both out for lunch! Do the races stop until they get back I know it is only "soap" but they should portray it more realistically"

I don't think the writers bother to do research. As long as they are coming up with the most depressing storylines possible. Especially at Christmas!!!!!

In the old days script writers were meticulous with storylines and continuity. Nowadays, no one cares.

I agree, Rice krispie boy would have mentioned the play several times, as children tend to get excited about these things. Also, the school probably would have asked parents to maybe make the outfits for their children.

Maybe there's a partimer who works in the Bookies when Peter and Leanne are out.

coros one is a joke, yes cab i know its a soap,but lets get a bit of reality in it.
this has been mentioned many times before,but from the outside the doors of the rovers are that narrow even Dedrie has to turn sideways to get in but from inside the pub there twice as wide lol

I agree with velvetee, continuity has gone out of the window. How can anyone in the Street not remember that there have been murders before Tony started? Audrey sure has a short memory when she is not believing Maria. And where's the lottery money ????? lol. (the girls in the factory should be having a knees up!!)

I was talking about soaps the other day. I don't really watch any but am forced to watch hollyoaks (kids!). My point was how they made death look like you can get over it an a few weeks and never mention the dead person again. I lost my Uncle and Dad in 7 months and I swear my kids think I'm overracting as grief is not portrayed like this on TV.

They should make it a bit more realistic......

Exactly ummmm, Maria should be in bits, and Carla if she loved Liam as much as she said she did. And why hasn't Maria reminded Carla of the hundreds of phone calls to Liam on the stag night - urgh!! (Get a life pips1, the list goes on and ooooonnnnn)

oooo I agree with all the above but I am addicted -I cant miss an episode ever.

I have to say despite all the continuity issues -very true -i'd forgotten about them until they were mentioned -the actor who played Peter last night was very good and ive seen a few drunks in my life !!

V -I wondered where I had seen Simon before -thats it -he is a brilliant wee actor I have to say -convincing for a little 'un.

SPOILER -dont read -I do wish that Carla would go (which she will) and Tony and Rosie get together -that will be a good storyline as they will torment Maria even more but I reckon she will have more backbone and he will be outed !!!!!!

O and it was Leannes real life hubby (off Brookie) who murdered Liam so theres more to come there as Leanne is also preggers in real life so she will be skooting off soon -phew !!!!
