Just watching it now as Sky + it from earlier but I can't say I like Philip Glenister with an American accent!
Did anyone else watch it and what do you think of it?

I heard him in the trailer and didn't like it either, so I never even watched.

Don't blame you!
I also thought it was on too early as I think quite a few kids would have scared by it. (And not just for the bad American accent)

I thoroughly enjoyed it,as I'm mad on anything to do with horror and the supernatural.
Yes,it was a bit weird with Philip Glenister with his accent, but Christian Cooke played his role brilliantly.
He has been in a Doctor Who story as well.
I am now hooked on this series.I will be tuning in again next week.
My mum watched this with me,and she was a bit squeamish while watching this show.Hee,hee!
his accent wasn't BAD that's mean!!
I liked it I like the guy in it yumm he has such blue eyes!!
I'll be watching it next week too!!
hi eash watched in bits as was working, thought is accent was diabolical,i think he struggled with it and he kept going back into his own accent every now and then, who is the chappie who played the vh protege, regonise his face from somewhere, maybe a child actor as he obviously got older!!!
I watched the first bit but it didn't grab me so my attention wandered - the young guy is cute though and gorgeous eyes!

I'm going to try and catch it on a repeat and watch it properly.

I seems darker than Primeval though I did enjoy that even if it was a bit silly :)

Roll on Supernatural and Torchwood being back :)

Bad things about this show;
1. Casting a well known british actor as an american with a faux american accent. The reason for this I am guessing is to make it more accessible to the possible american audience - but if you want that, get an american actor!
2. Its basically buffy.

Good things.
1. CGI / Special effects.
2. The line about Bram Stoker ripping off Van Helsings name for his book Dracula :)
I thought it wasn't that bad (remember the dreadful Bonecrackers!!!!!)
I do like Philip Glenister so I'm prepared to keep on watching, I'm sure it will improve as the series goes on.
