Does it annoy you when those involved in programmes shorten the name .LikeBruce calls it strictly /Tarrant calls it millionaire those in Coronation Streeet call it the street Big Brother is BB (Bridgt Bardot will always be BB to me ) .It this to make it sound like its so important shortning its name persumes people will know what they are talking about .If the programme is call a particular name it should be referred to it as that name .

I confess to saying Corrie though & making up my own alternative titles. My brother-in-law made me laugh when he used to call Tenko 'Stinko' :o)
(not sure whether you're old enough to remember that?)

The only bit of 'Strictly' I every enjoyed was John Sargeants wonderful bits, and I only saw those on other programmes. So you are not alone Robinia.
I think 'I'm a celebrity............................................ ' has a very good reason to be shortened - what a mouthful!! Never watch that either.
But I too admit to 'Corrie' (an affectionate nickname for an old friend!)
