No you not missed anything I was wondering that too when I watched it but it is typical of soaps .Was still waiting on Benny to come back on Crossroads he went to look for a hammer and never came back lol.

Its like max in Eastenders, he has not worked for ages, but still regularly pulls out a wad of money to give the "girls" monet to "go treat yourself" when he is trying to buy his way back into their affections when he has messed up, or is trying to win them over, yet again.

I thought the same Gina, but did she keep her share of the winnings she gave to her son, but saying that, would be a bit of a cheek for her to take some of Edna's money as her share.
