Ocean's 11

Please settle an argument: in Ocean's 11, is Matt Damon supposed to be George Clooney's son, even though this is never explicitly stated? My other half claims this was screamingly obvious right through the film; I did not pick up on this at all. Have I missed something?

No. It is stated whose son he is, and I can't recall the name, but it wasn't Danny Ocean.

Okay you obviously do not watch movies well. Matt Damon, who plays Linus Caldwell, is not Daniel Oceans son. His father is Bobby Caldwell! As they say in the movie at the mansion when they are ready to discuss the plan. And I quote; Rueben (Elliot Gould): "So Your'e Bobby Caldwells Kid?" So it is blatently obvious that he is not Danniel Ocean.
