Simple as that really , I cant understand why so many people would put themselves up for this kind of nationwide humiliation, unless there was some, kind of payment for it.

It's all about wanting their 15 minutes of fame I think.
They can then print off a T-shirt with 'I have been on the Jeremy Kyle Show' and hope someone signs them up for a recording contract, with a wining no. 1 record entitled, 'I shagged your missus mate'.

They haven't the intelligence or wherewithal to realise they are being exploited and humiliated. I have seen one episode and would never watch another.

The 'guests' get paid expenses and are usually given overnight hotel accommodation and free travel.

What makes me laugh is they get put up in a hotel and often have a fight in the hotel room, trashing it and disturbing other guests!

I think the American programmes such as Jerry Springer are worse than JK. And yes, I do confess to sitting and shouting at the TV if I'm off work ill or on leave! :o)

At least JK's programme isn't based around "I have a secret to tell you and thought I'd bring you hundreds of miles and tell you in front of a national tv audience of millions as opposed to telling you in the security and safe haven of your own home"! Springer is a CHARLATAN!

The other thing that REALLY "gets me" about the "confessors" on those shows is that 99.99% of them start their explanation with, "baby, you know that I love you and that you mena the world to me". Yeah, right, they mean so much to you that you sh***ed their dad, their brother and their therapist all in the one night! GIVE ME STRENGTH!

I work in a hospital, and recently one of our patients was a prisoner. The prisoner officers escorting him insisted on having Jeremy Kyle's show on the telly, as they like spotting ex-prisoners as they often recognise them.

One of my local taxi firms has the JK account and they get taken to and from where they live by taxi and put up in a hotel.

By all accounts it's not a very popular job :)

I think there is only about one hotel who will take the guests now due to the problems they cause as they were being put up in some really nice ones.

My cousin went to see one of the live shows (I am assuming it's a student thing!) and said JK and the staff were taking the **** out of the guests between takes.

I used to work by where it's filmed and the queue was always really long and full of lots of very scary looking people!

I heard by someone who was at the show, not on it just in the audience the participants get paid �200 per person

These people are what the next level up of dopes that include factory workers, low paid work, need in order to feel that they are better than somebody else in life when in fact they are just filling the pockets of the rich like everybody else but only after having to work 40 hours a week in mind boring jobs for the pleasure. All of the wages go straight down their throats before falling over and bashing eachother amidst creating more life to repeat the complete waste of space. At least us slightly more intelligent folk get our toilet roll holders made etc and make an easy buck selling you morons over priced beer and stories of fame. Hey at least you can laugh at the kind of people who go on JK show. Why do the government pay them your tax ? If they didn't the order of greedy capitalism wouldn't work and they might lose power as people catch on to their dirty system mainstream.
