She is beautiful
He is one of the few men that like women. So he is gay, so what? I would rather have him as a friend than a lot of men I know.
No, beg to differ there Velvetee.

I went to state infant, junior & secondary schools & can honestly say I don't remember seeing any fat/obese girls or boys at the first two, or indeed at the all girls school from age 11 to 15.

We had a completely different way of life compared to the kids of today. We didn't have a tv until I was 9, no computers, etc., etc. We had PE three times a week & played netball. Not forgetting roundes on the school green & oce at home with friends. We walked everywhere, including back & forth to school - not dropped off & picked by car at the school gates!

(Scuse any mistakes I must go soon)!
agree with smudge - and there was no MacDonalds !!!
* rounders * once
*picked up!

I'm really tired now!
we had loads of exercise out playing right through our teens, now its all PC's and mobile phones, fast food etc
Smudge is right, kids were normally more active in day to day activities, and at school. Plus there was far less reliance on instant foods

Ah weeal - you're a mere baby! We got married in 1964 & our first daughter was born in 1965! Our second daughter in 1968, bless them!
oops sorry smudge haha, you seem as young as me then in print
I understand they don't have cooking lessons either. How will they learn nutrition if they (kids) dont have practical lessons
Velvetee - our eldest granddaughter is 19 now (how time flies). She left chool two years ago & they still had PE then, but I bet most ducked out of doing it!
Ooo, thank you & don't be sorry weeal. Everyone thinks I'm our granddaugter's Mum when we're out - it's quite fun & great being a 'young' Mum & Nanny! ;o}
