How can I find out when adverts will be shown on TV?

I know thats a bit of a random queston, but I guess there is a schedule somewhere saying the running order of the adverts.

Any ideas?

My elder sister used to work in Reception at the old Tyne Tees Telepvision Centre back in the 70's. She sometimes brought home the running order of which adverts were going to appear in each programme but I doubt they are/were for public consumption.

I do know that about one minute before there is going to be an advert break, especially in live shows, a little flashing light appears in the top right corner of the TV screen.

You'll usually find the adverts 2 minutes from the end of extra time in cup matches
