We're a bit behind over here. At the moment June is dealing with "Gabriel" the PC. What's the real story...is he her real son or not?

No. Gabriel will tell June that he is NOT her son.  He will tell her his real name is David Kent.  Gabriel was adopted by David's parents.   Gabriel resented all the attention Gabriel got and he took his adopted brothers name to join the police and track down June.

Thanks Hopalong. So does He stay at Sunhill and does June get along with him? I saw an article where she finally married poor old Jim. And Hi Netty I'm in Australia and we get lots of English shows. The ABC shows many BBC shows and on cable there's a UKTV channel which has just about everything from Coronation Street to Top Of The Pops. The Bill is hugely popular

hopalong's answer is accurate but in the wrong tense.  The police officer who calls himself Gabriel has already told June that he is in fact David Kent.

 

Does he saty at Sun Hill?  Yes.  Does June get along with him? No - they only tolerate each other as much as necessary to get on with the job.

P.S. The other thing is that June managed to find and visit the real Gabriel (by pretending to be interested in buying his house) - but didn't get a chance to tell him who she was or why she had really visited (because his wife walked in at the crucial moment).  Now, the real Gabriel has gone to live in New York, and June is keeping quiet about Gabriel's real identity.
