Anyone out there with a Thompson sky box.Have you got problems that started on or about 12th/13th Feb.
Apparently Sky sent out software updates and ZAPPED 30000 units. If yours is out of warranty they will try to charge 65 pounds for a callout so stand your ground and you will get a free replacement box.

i was told though, when i rang them the other day, it was because i was running low on hard drive space and i needed to get rid of a few recordings in my library.

i see, well my software version says 2.99 when i check in menu, set up & help.
Do you know if this the software update they were zapping to all those 30000 units?
(when i spoke to them the other day about my problem and the freezing of the box, she said it was because i was low on disk space and it needed to be at least 30%.
this sounds rather extreme to be honest as i have 12hours of free space, which i dont see as particularly low, and that equates to just 9% .. so just how many hours do i need to keep free to meet the required 30% to stop this blummin freezing problem occurring??!!!)
