It worries me that any man under 25 would choose to start a family. He was 20 when his girlfriend became pregnant and they've been together since they were 14.

I would prefer young people to find themselves as individuals before settling down in a relationship. They admitted the baby wasn't planned. In this day and age there is absolutely no need for unplanned pregnancies.

I never suggested the actor is anything like the character he plays.

Actually Ethel it's only in the past decade that people have chosen to start families later. My husband became a very good father at the age of 22 and as my main hobby is genealogy I notice that way back people were marrying and starting families at a very young age (please don't mention the 13 year old)

you can have responsible fathers at 20 and unresponsible fathers at 40 i think its the individual not the age
