Fantasy film

Right. The only bit that I remember from this film is that there are two people in a maze (a man and a boy, I think), and they are being chased by something evil, a beast of sorts. They come to a door/end where they have to say a password for the door to open, but the man cannot remember it, he knows that it begins with open, but does not remember the second word,. He then looks on the childs hand, and written on it is sesame. Any ideas at all? Thank you

Was it Labyrinth with David Bowie? I remember a maze scene in that one, if not no idea but good luck finding out.

Sorry, I keep saying no. Ali baba, is the only film I keep thinking of too, but alas no, it was deffinatley in the style of a fantasy film. I do like Ali baba tho, and Sin bad.

Thank you for your efforts, but still no, I am affraid. It was a fantasy film between late 70's early 80's ( I am guessing, but it was not resent). Thank you anyways, and keep trying.
