Retuning Virgin - Channel 20 on Freeview

Has anyone else had trouble retuning this today?

If you retuned it before 11 am nothing changed until after this time. So try again. If you are retuning manually retune the channel band 32 as Virgin1 is now among this group of channels .retuning bad 29 will rebrand the old virgin1 as Virgin1+1. if you retune automatically it should fix itself.

I have retuned my TV, Digibox and DVD Recorder 4 times each now since yesterday about 3pm and still cannot get the channel. Frustrating is NOT the word I am looking for!!!!!

Virgin 1 is on Freeview Channel 20 (Sky Ch 121)
Virgin 1+1 is only on Sky Ch 122 and not on Freeview
Works fine in Granada Freeview Area on Ch 20
Is your Region changing over from Analogue to Digital and which area is that ????

I live in Swansea and have had continual trouble with S4C, Channel 5, Fiver and Five US on Digital for over a year - the reason given was that work was being done on the Wenvoe transmitter in Cardiff, but I never had any problems receiving Virgin on Channel 20 until I had to retune yesterday and now I haven't got that channel at all.

Take a look at the above as the Wenvoe Transmitter is preparing for the switchover and some Channels are on very low power. That is why you are experiencing problems.
Follow the advice given by Wenvoe on the link above as it may help you rescan your Digi-Box or TV.

I have just put my TV on and noticed that Virgin 1+1 is on Freeview Channel 35 but programmes do not start until 1800 Hrs. Virgin 1 is on Ch 20 and is Ok.
Try Googling Wenvoe if no luck with above link and you will see which Channels are on reduced power.
