After all the cameras have gone and the excitement of competing on TV, would the winner really want to work for Alan Sugar? I really don't think I'd want to, they should probably make it a show where the winner wins a big cash lump sum.
Also - did you hear Sralan describe the project Yasmina is going to be involved in? (I've temporarily forgotten myself - but it sounded really really boring. Maybe it's sooo boring that's why I've forgotten, but he mentioned it on the 'You're Hired' show.
Kate may well find she comes out of it best, as runner-up. A bit like Ruth, the Badger, the other year. Who can remember the winner? but Ruth has done really well for herself.
Also the winner would end up working in the wilds of Brentwood Essex, probably in the middle of a depressing industrial estate!
I dont think many of the previous Apprentice winners are still working for Amstrad
100k for a years contract is not bad. She can go back to the family restaurant after that. I dont find Sir Alan at all charismatic and would hate working for him. Dont know why the Governemnt should think he will give them a boost.
I wondered exactly the same thing ....apparently Yasmina's going to be selling electronic signs to the NHS - probably the ones that tell you the waiting time is three & a half days, followed by ads for rescue remedy & kalms :o)
