NYPD Blue

Why did Channel 4 stop buying the totally wonderful NYPD Blue? We used to get it in the UK a couple of months after the US but now we're almost two series behind. It seems odd that they would have dropped it so abruptly.

Aaah, a fellow fan suffering withdrawal symptoms! I have spent the last two summers pining for the autumn, when my weekly dose of 'NYPD Blue' would appear and brighten my evenings - but have been without! The good news is, Channel 4 have bought the following series, but due to some protracted negotiations with the American series owners, it didn't make the schedules in time. The good news is, it is planned to recommence later this year, and will pick up where the previous sereis shown here left off. Let's compare notes as soon as it gets going.
