Molly & Kevin's Affair

When Molly & Kevin are finally found out, I hope the script writers will somehow bring up up Sally's affair with the car sales owner Ian Davenport. (What's good for the goose etc.)

I agree it does seem to be very mis-matched with Mollie and Kevin, I cannot really understand what she would see in him, although quite often the writers have slow burning storylines that build into pretty dramatic and interesting conclusions. To be honest I I also can't really see what the attraction is with Tyrone to be honest, Mollie is quite a feisty character and Tyrone although sweet is no match for her. It annoys me a bit, when the soaps have the big build up to a wedding, then within a year the characters start having affairs. I know it does happen in real life, but not so often as in the soaps.
I agree that Blanche and Graham are two of the best characters and I think nothing can beat Corrie for comedy. I think when Blanche, Ken and Deirdre all went to Peters AA meeting was a classic comedy moment, ranking up their with Gail's Village People comment about Jason!
Kirk was funny recently when he decided to move out of Fiz's place. He went for the big dramatic statment about the long and winding road and then promptly went about 3 paces and knocked on Maria's door!!
I think it will be interesting to see what happens when Carla comes back into the series!

it is a very unlikely pairing I must admit and unfortunately I have read that this drags on till Christmas when Sally finds out she has breast cancer and Kevin must then make his choice. Hey Ho another cheerful soap christmas dinner!

I googled Princess Fiona as I haven't seen Shrek. My goodness, Molly would be very flattered - not! Mind you the eyes are similar!!!

Very astute observation there - she's like a pretty enough version of fiona. Storyline annoying the life out of me -sally does too

And as for rosie - don't get me started - the actress has two expressions and cannot act except to strop around the place and supposedly flirt

Totally agree. Sack the pair of them - Sally and Rosie!! Sophie though has always been a fine little actress, and I have a soft spot for Kevin! I don't know their proper names!! I saw Rosie on something appearing as herself and she was just as awful!!!

That's interesting lofty as she does appear to be doing 'what comes naturally' . Saw you comment about graham - I love him he is so funny - he's what corrie is all about

They have found a real treasure in him. It's the humour in Corrie that keeps me watching. I find the other soaps totally dreadful. Good old Corrie. See you soon Peri. xx

Just popped in and saw this thread. Totally agree with you about the humour in Corrie.
By contrast I thought that Emily and Norris's performances after Ramsey's death were brilliant. Very moving.

Can't believe in the Kevin/Molly thing. Doesn't ring true. Agree about Emily and Norris. Very moving episode. Can't be doing with 'Rawsie' . She's too much. Those big rolling gobstoppers of eyes and that mouthful
of outsize, over-white piano keys. You'd need your sunspecs to look at them.
