Kids Program similiar to greenclaws

The program appeared to similiar years to Greenclaws, late 80's to mid 90's. Definately on at the weekends, late afternoon to 7pm and on for about a hour or 40mins. Its definately not Greenclaws. People were inside rabbits, so a bit like Greenclaws. These rabbits had adventures in woods or dark place (always shown as a dark picture on your tv) and usually in danger. Was there a damaged car somewhere?

Does anyone know which programme I am talking about?! I know the programme only was on for about a yr if that.......

Do you mean Animals of Farthing Wood or Watership Down? Animals of FW used to scare me as a kid, they were always in danger and once some hedgehogs got runover and made me cry (lol!)
