Would Katherine Jenkins have made it if she was ugly?

I have never found Katherine Jenkins' singing enjoyable to listen to, or her personality genuine. Do you think she would have been as successful as she is if she wasn't a good-looking young woman? I don't.

Don't know about her singing but I think that most men would agree that she has a magnificent pair of lungs

She is genuine. I have relatives who live near her Mum. Of course it helps that she's beautiful, but how many UGLY famous singers do you know?

its a good point, lets face it how many celebrities do you see who are plain ugly, im not talking about a "not my type" kind of ugly, I mean a butt ugly celeb, who are looked up to and complimented and not the butt of the jokes..?

katherine jenkins is a good singer though in operatic circles they dont rate her, I get fed up with non entities being famous for nothing, the ex big brother people, 20 year olds writing autobiographies, cherl cole, weak singer but good looker makes her a mega star ect

I watchedthe Piers Morgan show, Yes KJ is a lovely woman but came over as one of the Worzels, no personality, a bit of a damp squib. Susan Boyle isn't exactly a beauty but what a fab voice. I've bought her CD but wouldn't want a KJ one as a gift. Aunty Jem.

She is beautiful and she has a good voice (but not outstanding). I can see why she is the Forces Favourite. However, I find her totally bland and would never go to see her perform. I watched her introduce a series about the Second World War back in September and she was 'wooden'.

And no I don't think she would have made it if it wasn't for her looks. But at least she has some talent, so good luck to her.

i liked her, but found her to be irritating on the piers morgan thing.

she reminded me of abby titmuss, trying to be all girly and coy. just how long did her 'experimental' drug thing last for, she never answered just swayed it off with something about being popular.

i like her no more.
