Celebrity / jungle rubbish!

Am i the only person in the country that has NEVER, EVER seen one episode of the Celebrtity / Jungle thing? (Nor do i want to).  Is there anyone else out there that is fed up to the back teeth of having Reality TV pushed upon us at every available opportunity, or am i totally abnormal? xx:)

I wasn't slating you I made a mistake and read your question wrong, that's why I asked genuinely what your age was.  I don't know how long she has been around, and had never heard of Huggy Bear for example.

 

The challenges are tried and tested beforehand, there's a new show on called something like "I'm an Aussie get me out of here", and shows the footage of the people trying the trials first hand.

 

I understand that they are not dangerous - no TV company would ever put any (alebit minor) celeb in any situation on (sometimes live) TV that could cause them any harm.

 

I merely putting my point across that I enjoy "I'm a Celebrity", and ok it may not be great TV but it is, neverthless, popular.  I'd like to see any of you chewing on a kangaroo's wotsit!

Actually, Shirlz, i don't watch Emmerdale or Coronation street.

O.k, if we must have this tripe on our screens, lets make it worth watching - drop a bunch of no hopers in the middle of the Amazon rain forest with one essential piece of kit each and watch them make their way back - survival of the fittest - at least this way the people in question would have to use their wits!  Now, that COULD be entertaining..!!

However, if you think that watching a "celebrity"(??) gagging on a kangaroos genitalia is entertainment, then so be it, it's a free country. Personally, I think that you need to get out more....

The thing is, by spending time on AB we may have the weeniest chance of actually learing something interesting, don't you think, or even entering into a good old debate, instead of being bored out of our minds by has-been celebrities with nothing better to do than whine & whinge about who ate the last witchety grub, or whatever it is they talk about.....

thank God all you wonderfull people are in agreement with me about this complete garbage being shown, i also have never had any wish to watch even a minute of these crushingly boring shows, also most tabloid newspapers have 5 or 6 bloody pages every sodding day about the latest drivel from each show.

Because (being the intelligent portion of the populace ;-) ), we can tell from the mere concept that it will be total rubbish. I've never watched a "rape" movie, but I'm certain I wouldn't enjoy one.

I've never poked myself in the eye with a sharp stick, 5029, but I know i wouldn't like it....although it would be preferable to watching this sort of brain numbing tripe, and would probably be far more stimulating

I don't watch reality tv, any religious programmes, or any soaps, but other people do....SO WHAT?? Why do you all care?  So many channels, so much choice, get a life and stop carping on....sounds like telly snobbery to me.  If folk want to spend their time watching this stuff, LET THEM.  I'm sure you all have [past times. interests etc that others may find dull/unfathomable,/weird.  As my mad, lovely old gran often says...it wouldn't do if we were all the same.
