When Girls Aloud were formed by auditioning on Pop Stars The Rivals, Cheryl Cole proved she could genuinely sing, though her voice wasn't outstanding enough for success as a solo artist. However, she was undoubtedly the best-looking which made it obvious she would be selected. Since then the looks-obsessed British media have focussed on Cheryl more than the rest of the band, indeed more than the rest of the female population of the World, and she's got her job on X Factor. I've never found her personality appealing and that's nothing to do with envy. She's gobby, opinionated, arrogant, and I cannot forget the notorious incident in the nightclub in Guildford. Can anyone convince me Cheryl Cole would have got where she is today were she not blessed in the looks department? The answer may be provided by the future of Nicola Roberts after Girls Aloud split for good.
Are you trying to say that Nicola is ugly? I have always found her to be most attractive.
As far as Cheryl is concerned she is undoubtedly very attractive and has a great figure abet slightly too thin. Personally, I don't care for the stilted delivery of her (Newcastle?) accent but heyho. I don't like her new single and feel that she performs better as a judge on fiXfactor than she sings but she certainly comes across as a 'nice' person.
she is an ok singer pretty but how she became a judge on x factor is beyond me she has neither the calabre or experience to do this someone like lulu would of been better
Bit blunt, wasn't it, but true nevertheless. And hey Mr LL doesn't reckon her at all (well so he says!) She looks cheap and nasty compared to Dani Minogue and her dress sense is appalling. She pretty I suppose but she has no class! God, I sound such a snob!!!!
We're gonna disagree again Lottie. I like Cheryl Cole, she's come from nothing and is doing rather well for herself. Whether she has genuine talent or not, though I happen to think she can sing (maybe not brilliantly) I have nothing but admiration for someone who can become successful in this bloody hard world!
He, he, BOO!! I hate teeny bop pop music. As for a voice I love Alison Moyet. Cheryl is just a Barbie Doll. But good luck to her its what her fans want.
