I notice that Danyl is on stage alone and excellent. Yet the leprechauns have lots of dancers with them . . . maybe that is intentional so that viewers will be distracted.

well just look at the charts, I wouldnt say all of them are "singers" yet they still enjoy success. Even the teletubbies managed a number 1

yep, agree rob, the charts is a reflection of the publics taste in music, which does not necessarily have to be perfection in singing.
