Should I get Buffy dvds now?

I am a HUGE fan of buffy the vampire slayer and have seen almost every episode.

I would really like to get all the dvds eventually and I thought this xmas might be a good time to start collecting.

But on amazon.co.uk there is some (very brief) information about a ?new? copy of the first 3 seasons available to pre-order. (31-01-2005)

Could someone please give me some information on these. Or are they the same dvds???

I think the new releases are going to be in a different type of packaging (less fancy, but sturdier). The r.r.p. is lower, so probably worth waiting.

 

It might be worth seeing if there are any "complete series" box sets left - most places have sold out, but some had all 7 seasons for as little as �140!

There is a box set off the whole collection out - and it would be cheaper to buy that than each series individual.

The complete box sets are ok but you don't get all the extra features that you get on the individual season sets and these are worth getting!!
