Please Help me name that programme !

I have been racking my brains for months now after hearing a song and cannot name the programme. The theme tune to it was "would you like to swing on a star" and it was about a young blonde haired girl who had powers and could stop time. She also used to go to her room and talk to her father who was in the form of a spriit I suppose and she woulk communicate via a crystal which would flash green while he was talking back to her. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me sleep at night again!!

It was a terrible programme but the mum was really attractive, I had a thing about her. It also featured Doug McLure in the twilight of his career, as the token "whacky" friend

That was a great show. I still sing the theme tune all the time!! the mother was in the film Saturday night fever as well. The daughter Evy Ethel Garland also had an uncle Beano. (Not the most common name???)
