naked prey

has anyone seen a film called naked prey in which european explorers in africa were set upon by hoards of tribesmen and at least one of them was set free to be hunted down by single tribesmen after being given a head start? no one else i know has heard of it, am i dreaming?

Its a brilliant film and I wish someone would repeat it. The last time I remember it being on TV must be about 1980. I loved the 'torture' bits when the whites and their entourage are captured by the tribe. Imagine being baked alive in clay!! The white guide was given an arrows flight head start because he tried to convince the 'explorer' to give the tribe some goodies, but he wouldn't. So no Mr Piper, you didn't dream it!

I remember seeing it about 20 years ago. The bit with the bloke being baked alive has stuck with me ever since.

The guy hunted throughout the film was Cornel Wilde.

Can I also chip in that it's a tremendous film, directed by and starring Cornel Wilde. One interesting thing about it is that it has next to no dialogue. As far as I know, it hasn't been on British TV for about 15 years, and yet so many crappy pictures have...
