That really upset me. It seemed he died very quickly. Came across as such a lively person, very sad.

When at the end they said a close member of the family had died and the woman who won gave half of her winnings to Spencer's charity, I wondered if the 'family member' was actually him and they didn't want it to change the result. he was lovely though and very sad.

According to the sun!!! His sister has cancer and he wanted to win the money for her. She's still alive.

I had a look at the website link that they gave at the end of the show and it said that it was his sister who had had cancer. He was then diagnosed shortly after the show and then died 2 months later (I think it was pancreatic cancer). Very sad.
