I need to find the name of a tv drama

The drama was about agroup of people who boarded a train, which became trapped in a tunnel when a meteor hit the earth. One of the passengers knew it was going to happen and has some sort of gas which froze all of the train passengers for years. When they woke up it was years later and there were only a few people alive. I think it was called 'The last Train'. Could someone please confirm the name and if I can get it on DVD or videotape.

"The Last Train" is right - from 1999, 6 episodes, starring Ian Hart and Harriet Ambrose.

 

Apparantly it is not officially on DVD or VHS but there are copies occasionally on E-bay where copies have been made, presumably from taped version off TV, but no guarantee on the quality.  You might also be able to download copies from peer-to-peer sites.

It was originally called "cruel earth" but the studio's didnt like it so it became "the last train", I was in it. was a good series as well but don't think it was released on dvd
