why do vegetarians on come dine with me never cook meat for the others (except ive seen it happen once) but meat eaters always cook for the veggie taste buds?
ive not seen this weeks before gina, i assumed it was a new one..? but im not sure.
gawd, that fella who started the week off!! ... blimey riley! talk about borrrrrrrrring zzzzzzzzzzzz lol ........ he just drones on and onn and onnnnnnnn doesnt he!
AFAIC cooking meat from the POV of a vegetarian is more of an imposition than vice versa.
Veg is benign, veg preparation didn't involve the slaughter of a living, warm blooded, screaming, adrenaline-loaded beastie at some point. (BTW I am not a vegetarian, but I sympathise and don't *have* to have meat)
I'm a vegetarian and I wouldn't cook meat for a meat-eating friend. I have no objection to them eating meat (my father was a pig farmer, so I grew up with the idea of slaughtered animals), but I hate the smell of meat, raw or cooked, and I couldn't touch meat to cook it.
I do find it odd on some editions of Come Dine With Me, that some vegetarians will eat fish, chicken and even bacon. They are demi-vegetarians.
I do love Come Dine with Me, one of my favourite shows.
i thought it was awful when that paul(?) the large man was sweating it made my skin creep and then when he went outside to have a smoke, the thought of him smoking and sweating yuk!
Worse one I saw was a fat bloke who was sweating buckets wiping his forehead with a tea-towel then using the same tea-towel to wipe the edges of the plates before serving
